About ÍSOR

Organisation

ÍSOR is an independent state institution under the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate. ÍSOR operates on a commercial basis in a competitive market and earns its revenue by selling research, advice, services and information, or other projects within its field of work.

Director

ÍSOR's director is Árni Magnússon.

Board

The Minister for the Environment and Resources appoints five individuals to the board for four years. From 10 January 2024 the board comprises:
