The ÍSOR website is designed and built with accessibility in mind so as many people as possible can use it, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard-only navigation or magnification.
Standards we follow
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 standard at level AA. As a public institution, ÍSOR follows Act no. 84/2019 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public bodies.
- Semantic HTML and a correct heading hierarchy.
- Full keyboard operability with a visible focus indicator.
- A skip-to-content link at the top of every page.
- Sufficient colour contrast and text that scales without loss of content.
- Descriptive alt text on imagery and labels on interactive elements.
